How to Install apt-watch software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

apt-watch software package provides Applet that monitors apt sources for upgrades (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install apt-watch 

apt-watch is installed in your system.

Make ensure the apt-watch package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apt-watch *

You will get with apt-watch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
